Alright this is going to be long: My mom has had issues since I was a little girl (about 6). She has all the signs of paranoid schizophrenia. She talks to herself (not so much talking as screaming), makes up weird stories, puts magnets on the phone, unplugs stuff because she hears the "buzzing in the walls", etc. I don't even want to list it all. She became very violent as it got worse, and as the drinking got worse. I haven't seen her in 6 years because my dad finally left her and I had no want to see her and continue the torture. I am now married and have a 2 year old boy. She always had problems where she would call people that we know and make threats and stuff, so all of our friends and family had to change their phone numbers. Now she's homeless in Pomona, CA. The cops know very well of her because she's been arrested many times. As far as I know she's never had a drug problem other than drinking heavily. Recently though over the past couple weeks, she's been trying to get into contact with everyone again. Calling my aunt (her sister), and threatening her. Trying to contact my dad and his girlfriend through facebook. I blocked her on facebook, but now she's trying to add all my friends and trying to talk to them. It's really getting out of hand. I really just want to call the cops and say "Hey this woman is crazy, can't you do something about it" but I've been trying since I was a little girl to get them to take her away forever. It seems like she has this switch so she can turn it off and on when she really needs to. She was put under a 72 hour hold once and they said she was completely normal. I really do fear for the safety of my family (my aunt and cousins) because they live close to where she's homeless at. And she knows that they live there. They have a restraining order against her already, but sometimes those are just useless against her. I've had it through the years trying to deal with her. I still have nightmares about her, and I just want her to leave everyone alone. Is there ANY way that I can get her to be put away in a hospital or something? I have actually gotten a video of her acting crazy before but they just let her go AGAIN. Maybe it was just my county that isn't doing anything. It's like they don't care at all. And I can't just bring my mom in because she's determined to think that she's is positively okay and that everyone else is crazy. I had to leave her and stop talking to her because she was becoming a threat to me. But now she's continuing this nonsense and it's becoming even more of a threat. I've been telling everyone who receives threats from her to keep them and log them down because she's started telling my friends that she's going to execute all of us. I have tried an "intervention" of sorts many years ago. Like I said she thinks she's completely sane, and that I've been "brainwashed" by the evil "conspirators".
